"The 1950's and the 1960's and the American Woman : the transition from the "housewife" to the feminist" pp.1-28 

For each document (essay / video) you need to:
  • Take thorough notes on each document, bring to next class ready for discussion.
  • What are some of the roles of women the documents (including video) describe?
  • In each decade, what national / global event are occurring that may be contributing to what the document raises? Explain? Take notes for discussion. You may distribute short handouts as well.
  • Bring 2 questions you have raised from each article for further discussion.
  • Keep all class + research notes, images, and other in a journal / folio for this course. These will be collected throughout the term for grading.
